voice examples

These are audio samples of some of the many different vocal chord coordinations. These are posted because I really needed something like this when I was learning to sing but could not find it. I hope these can help other aspiring vocalists who need a quick reference for what the different voices sound like and how not to sing certain notes. These are not meant to sound good. Going from a strained chest voice on Eb to Mix isn't going to sound pretty and its not supposed to but there is a difference between the two and it's helpful to know.
Falsetto disconnects and sounds ugly, period. I make no apologies as it does sound terrible. Still, it can be useful to know what is correct and what is not correct.
The whislte voice examples I've posted are only for vocal instruction. I've posted two examples of an easy way to trick your voice into whistle and one example of whistle voice being easily sung. Whistle is not falsetto so your chords must still remain connected on the light edgy sound all the way up. I've left the "popping" of the chords back to normal to show that whistle is one of the connected voices. If I were to actually sing whistle in a song (which I never would as people would probably 'boo') I would finish the tone properly and not be so lazy about it . The ONLY reason I have posted anything at all is to help a few singers that have specifically asked how I am able to sing such high notes. The samples show how I first got to whistle and how to begin training it. Use your own judgement on how you would imagine a finished sound because frankly, I don't care enough to practice it into a usable vocal sound :) Enjoy.
